Thank you for your interest to Foster for Chicago Pit Stop Rescue! When you foster a dog, you will be saving a life and allowing that dog the opportunity to find his forever home. By submitting this application, you understand and agree that we will conduct a preliminary background check and a home visit. Also, while you may be submitting an application for a particular dog, after processing your application, we may decide that another dog may be a better fit for you and your family as we want to ensure that your foster dog is not only a good fit for your home, but for your other pets. We will provide you with training support, mentoring, veterinary care, and if requested, food and a crate. Finally, fostering is a wonderful experience as you will be providing that dog with the love and tools he will need to succeed in his forever home; but this process does take time, so we appreciate your commitment to the process!
